Blackberry - Network operator setup - IMPORTANT
Modified By anonymous on 10/31/2007 11:56:39 AM)

Network operator setup - Internet service/Enterprise service

A common setup issue when you receive your new Blackberry is that the mobile operator has issued your Blackberry with the Internet service rather than the Blackberry Enterprise service. Without the Enterprise service you cannot synchronise your Blackberry with your address book, calendar, or other Outlook services.

A way that can you often tell if this is the case is if your Blackberry displays the GPRS text (on the top right of your blackberry screen) is in upper or lower case. If the Blackberry displays GPRS in lower case, it is not ready for use with the Enterprise service, and you must contact your Blackberry provider.
